Hello,
I'm sorry I should of been more specific. Its under Canadian news, and is about people in SK killing stray dogs in an attempt to control the stray "problem". I've spoken to both humane societies in the general location of the town and have been told that because they're shooting the dogs that this is an acceptable way to euthanize an animal...which I think is absolute BS. So I've been trying to get in contact with the local government but I'm having no luck getting someone to call me back. Of course. I was just wondering what one can do to try and get some education and Vet care out to this small town so that these dogs don't have to be killed. I've even offered to drive the 8 hours to this town and help educate people on responsible pet care so that this problem won't continue but no one will call me back.

I feel very defeated.
